The Panasonic Lumix DMC-Z23 with 10 MP 12x Wide Angle Zoom is a true artist. This was the camera 3 in $ 180 to $ 280 price range that we bought last year trying to replace an older digital camera that we were very happy. After 2 disapointments expensive we were reluctant to groped again, but very pleased with the outcome. Heading out for a family vacation, we decided to use the camera easily. Battery life far beyond expectations. Vibrant colors. Has over 3000 images in one week with only 2 that were vague and have been operator error. The camera is a bit 'heavy compared to many small these days, but easily transportable in a pocket or purse. The camera fits easily in your hand. This dosn't camera with 2 hands to make beautiful images. The movie mode is great as well and fills our need for each video capabilities we need. The viewfinder is big, bright and clear. We bought a class 6 card 16 together with her. Popped the card (3000 photo) in our Panasonic DVD-VHS digital recorder-player and enjoyed the photos and automatically rotate a big repeating our holiday family. Recommend
