They bought one of these about a month ago and have taken the shot on two trips, and maybe 350 images so far with him. I am very happy, the pictures are great. The ASA-1600-setting in Program mode allows very decent indoor shots without flash, which is in museums and in many other places is essential. I bought it mainly because of good experiences with the old EOS models, and why I insist on being able to take the batteries a bit, 'even though I use NiMH association agreements normal. The NIMH last a very long time. The image stabilization really helped with static images of patients with the camera zoom in. The viewfinder is very useful outdoors under the sun. Finally, the camera is small enough to fit comfortably in a pocket.

I will not go into detail about the quality / control / construction SX20IS, like many others have covered these points. Instead, I provide a list of all the differences with the previous model (SX10IS), and the recently released (United States) SX1IS. These points are ordered from most to least important, in my opinion.

In the battle between LCD versus plasma TVs one of the issues with the LCD display is its inability to handle fast motion images. The problem shows mostly in sporting games and action flicks. If you watch closely you can see the blurred images while objects are quickly moving. However, the newer LCD tvs have tried to solve this problem by running on 120hz. These LCD’s are now able to handle fast motion with virtually no blur. The Samsung LN-T4669 1080p LCD is one of the newer LCD TVs currently on the market that process with 120hz. I have seen many sporting events on this television and could see no motion blur. This 120hz technology doubles the frame rate from 60 to 120 frames/second without repeating the same picture to make more frames, making the transition much more smooth and fluid.

After about 4 by P & S cameras, and then again, I was finally on the camera. I tried Canon, others Pannys, Sony, Nikon and had the characteristics or qualities that I want. This camera is not perfect, but it is the best thing to haul around my Nikon D700 for occasional events. What I like: 1) Size 2) price) 3) Nice wide-angle 4) large zoom function 5) Amazing quality for HD video recording and the ability to zoom while recording 6) in stereo mode, video recording 7) the great battery life 9) slow car (in contrast with the LX3 expensive)
